As you can see from this artist’s conception of the event, I’ve finally closed on the new house. Even with decent credit in a buyer’s market, the process took so long that the month I’d set aside for moving is already a third gone.  At that, I’m told that I dodged a bullet by buying now; starting a month or so from now, the procedure’s going to drag on even longer.

Now the packing and schlepping can begin in earnest and true desperation. More substantial posts soon, after I’ve gotten a few items stowed away…
